Seriously, the suggestion to check out the thermistor is a great one.

CountryGuy finally replaced the ignitor module on ours, made a huge difference, no more scares that it would not start when switching from gas to electric, etc.

Also, be sure the door(s) are closing all the way, we make sure the door CLICKS every time. Otherwise, it is like having a frost free frig.
