I have the same hitch and have pulled with it for about a year. There was a posting on here about using a plastic electrical junction box cap as a washer to take some of the slack out of these hitches. I can't recall who posted pics of this modification but I jumped all over it. I took mine apart, made the modification, greased both places under the head, and put it back together. I have pulled from Illinois to California in the past 2 weeks and I don't hear any noise from my hitch. If you do a search you will probably find the post, it was within the past 2 months I am sure.
