I had a trans go out on my 2000 Ford 350 7.3 diesel at about 130,000 miles and I was using a superchip also. One did not relate to the other, it's just a weak link in the 7.3 era. I replaced with a Jasper 3 yr. 100,000 mile warranty and the trans was built by Jasper for my use pulling a 16,000 5th wheel up and down the mountains. So far so good with about 15,000 miles on the new tranny.
