I had found that turing the prologic setting to on for the surround sound solved the problem. I have sound out of all 5 speaker while watching tv, listening to a cd, and the dvd movies as well. I am going to be replacing the unit this spring with something better, but it does work well enough now if a guy did not want to take the time to rewire a new unit.
