I now have 45,000 miles on the trailer in 3.5 years. We put 20,000 miles on in 2010 alone.

We haven’t ever experienced any damage from a rough ride.

However I have had to replace brake shoes and repair the spring hangers.

Then only reason I can see for using IS is to keep from braking the under engineered spring attach points. I found it cheaper to have my metal structures engine tell me where to put the braces to stop that. It’s just to bad a waited until the frame failed.
