pineranch, it isn't quite that simple. if you get a 1099 then you will have to look at filing taxes. if you are going to work discuss it with the workampering site to see if they do 1099s.

remember some workampers get paid wages as well as the site and other benefits. and, federal and state taxes MAY come into play.

when in doubt see a tax preparer who knows the rules.
