That was the problem, mine showed "overload" and also says "No Brake"....believe me I had no brakes in the trailer. Lucky I was not doing a panic stop and had plenty of room and was only bout 15 mile from home on back roads. In heavy rain I have had the controller light up like I had a trailer on, but it worked fine in heavy rain when I did have the trailer on. Go figure???
