Although it may have a 30 amp plug ... actually your genset is rated at 20 amps with a maximum of 23 amps ... the A/C will pull 18-20 during startup. If you have anything else on including your fridge or converter ... you're probably pulling over 25 amps. I'd venture you'll have to have everything else off to start your A/C.
