That is true with a lot of trucks but I modified mine with the sole purpose of getting rid of the DPF. The added power is nice but I don't normally use any more power than the 350 HP than it had to begin with. If we are pulling identical campers at the same speed a 350 HP truck and a 600 HP truck will be generating the same HP, just enough to maintain the set speed.
