I will be on both of those roads in August. I have taken them many times in the last several years. They are both good 2 lane roads with speed limits to 65 MPH. You will see the real Wyoming.
While you are in Wyoming plan a stay in Dubois. About 10 miles north of Dubois see the Union Pass rd. It is the only road through the Wind River Range. I think it is the prettiest place in the state. It will take you to about 9800 feet. You can see deer, moose, elk and antelope up there. There are a lot of small streams to fish and a lot of lakes to fish or to just enjoy. About half way up there is a nice restaurant the Saw Mill. The locals drive from Dubious to it. Do a Google search for The Sawmill at Dubois.
I will see you about the second week of August on Union Pass or the Shirley Basin. If you are on Union Pass ans see a Montana it will be mine, Stop and say Hi.
