Another reason to shut off the water pump:::
Stuff left on the bath sink (soap dispenser) banged into faucet (turned it on of course) other items stored in sink (so they won't fly around) push stopper closed, need I explain more.
Luckily I only had 20 gal or less in water tank so there wasn't that much water but storage area was wet along with bath area carpet.

BTW DW shut off water pump, I left it on after a pit stop.
