I pulled all the tires off the rig today. Besides the one that exploded, one on the other side of the trailer was rounded. The middle of the tread was raised and the tire is 1 3/8" taller than the other one on that side so the cords are damaged on that tire also. It was just a matter of time before that one let go. All five Marathons will NOT be going back on the Monty. I called Goodyear and they are sending me some paperwork to fill out. So far, I think they expect to replace only the damaged tires. Now the fun begins.
