The extra plug seems to be your only solution. Most heaters pull 1000watts on low, coffee pots 1200, so that makes a total of 3200 watts on an 1800 watt (1500watts / by 120 volts) circuit. Even a 20 amp circuit won't take 26 amps for more than a few seconds. Also, if the breaker has tripped quite a few times it can get weak and need replacing.

Good luck, we have the same problem with a heater, 2 curling irons (one for each hand?) and a hair drier going in the bathroom.
