We likewise had a squeaky floor on both sides of the island and between the island and the stairs. Dealer added a few screws to the 3/4" plate that locates the island (have to get inside the island) Helped until we moved the rig. I added 23 more screws. Helped until we moved but still had some squeaks. This past Friday the dealer called Montana and they told them to go in the bottom and add shims as needed. They added them in 9 places (something about gaps at the gussets. not sure what that means without understanding more about the frame design). Still a few pops as you walk on the carpeted side but much improved. Will see how it holds up after a few more miles.
