I went to a sheet metal shop and had a pan made for my washer/dryer. I had a drain pipe braised in the bottom and put a piece of hose on it so it'll drain outside. I bought a moisture alarm from Lowes and put it in the bottom of the pan so if the washer leaks, the alarm will go off.
Thanks Jim, when you drilled down through the floor and the under belly covering, you didn't have any abstructions in the way? The hose went stright through?
