Hanscom is a farly busy FAMCAMP this time of year. I had forgotten that they do not take reservations. When you call to see if there is availability, make sure to ask if it has any hook-ups. It is my understanding that they have some electric/water only, and maybe not even that - don't know for sure, so ask.
Also, consider taking in the Arnold Arboretum at Harvard. Quite a history on how it came about and it consists of every tree from around the world that will grow in that area. At least that is what I heard. Just something to do in your "off" time.
