I have tried most of the solutions mentioned above, and mine is still noisy. On my 2955RL, the connections for the water pump and associated lines look like a plumber's nightmare and are very hard to wrap and/or isolate, and my next attempt will be a new pump. FWIW, the noise gets louder in cold weather. Good luck!
