Build date 8/18/06 and 6k axles (now replaced with 7k with self adjusting brakes). Sticker says GVWR is 13,975.

I was told when I asked Keystone that nothing else was changed. The increase in GVWR was due to the axles. That tells me the frame and all on my earlier 07 are capable of the higher weights and now with the heavier axles and springs the rig is capable of more. Yes, I know the weight sticker doesn't change but I don't care about that. In any case we have more capability and do not plan to load it any heavier than we have in the past.

I was told by a Keystone engineer that GVWR is calculated by the required RVIA method: Axle rating plus estimated pinweight. I'm not sure if that's finite or if that's the max rating allowed. I don't see where the frame or anything else is taken into consideration in that formula.
