I own a 2008 Ford F250 Super Duty diesel with the camper package. It has the identical engine, transmission, axles, tires, springs and stabilizer bar as the F350. Apparently the difference between the F250 and F350 is the price, weight sticker and the spacers that raise the rear end of the F350 two inches. If necessary, I'll add air bags to compensate for the spacers

Ford has ripped me off and puts false information on their "build your own truck" site I want my money back.

They tell me the 08 F-250 has a max payload of 2280lbs and a GVWR of 10000lbs. while my dually that I was duped into buying has a max payload of 4830 and a GVWR of 13,000lbs.. when there is really no difference between them.. Lier, lier, pants on fire Ford..
The dual rear wheels obviously make a difference in payload.

My F250 has the overload leaf springs, eight-lug wheels, LT275/70R18E OWL all-terrain tires, 6.4 liter dual turbo diesel, 3.73 ratio limited slip axle, etc. Other than platitudes, can someone please explain what accounts for the different payload numbers between a SRW F250 and F350?
