Orv, I'm one of those people that always draws from one tank at a time. I do not open the valve to the second tank until the first one actually runs out. My reasoning for this is that I don't ever want to run out on both tanks at one time. I know I've had to get up at 3 am and turn the valve to the other one, but I'n afraid I will forget to look to see if I need to turn off one valve and fill it.
At that point, I would be out in both tanks and could get very cold!
Being a p/t camper, I don't do what I should by checking the tanks the way I'm supposed to!
