When I had my Missions replaced the Les Schwab guys used a power wrench to wind my spare cable back and totally stripped the nylon gear. They ordered one from Keystone and the replacement was made of brass and much heavier. Wonder why they put the cheap ones on in the beginning and not the better ones......No, I don't wonder, it's all a matter of dollars and cents.......

I have an extra lashing strap that I think I will put around the tire just in case. Thanks for the idea Jim!!!!
