Orv, I will bet you are right on the PDI/vent inspection. Don't remember seeing that item listed on any posted PDI forms. Might be a good one to add.

NOTE: Also need to add to PDI forms inspection/testing of alarms (smoke/CO2/propane). I missed my smoke alarm on my PDI and a week later we had smoke inside our new Montana. Smoke alarm did NOT go off like it should have. Upon inspection, I discovered the battery still in the reversed position (standard procedure for storage and shipping from the alarm mfr). My fault as much as the PDI tech for not checking that at the dealership, but it was not on my sheet...

This forum is invaluable for updating PDI inspections for our members. Finding out about unusual items like an accidentally reversed vent is not something someone would normally think about to check...
