As you can tell by reading this thread there are winners and losers when it comes to service plans. The only sure winner is the insurance company.
A few things to think about:
-Don't buy insurance on a brand new rig until the warranty runs out, you are not getting anything extra with the extended coverage
-A big factor to consider is your level of expertise dealing with issues, if you generally do you own work the insurance will not help as much
-Are you a weekend camper or full time?
-How hard are you on your rig? If you do a fair amount of unimproved road travel where the rig gets beaten up the insurance may be more worthwhile. If you don't do regular maintenance, you will have more things break.
