With a 24V system you can save money on wire sizes on the DC side. This would be offset somewhat by the requirement of the mandated need for a 24V to 12V converter (i.e. transformer unit) to facilitate 12V house power. Check out the Explorist Life YouTube channel for detailed knowledge and explanation on the 24V vice 12V systems. There is a lot to consider when designing a system. It CAN be done though with careful planning. I've heard good reports on the LiTime batteries other than lack of cold weather protection which can be overcome with either battery warmers or installing in a heated compartment. Another thought is that both the Multiplus II and MPPT controller(s) will need to be programmed to the specific parameters of the LiFePo4 batteries you purchase.
