Steve, it could work to have a rental car and i will check into that. My concern is that we are here for 6-7 months and travel alot in Washington State. Both diesel gas prices and maintenance (the more you drive) are not cheap

I have a sister in Ephrata (240 round trip miles) another sister in Wenatchee (360 round trip miles) 2 daughters which = 6 grandkids (3 per daughter in the Spokane Valley (only 50 miles round trip) and 1 daughter which = 3 grandkids in Royal City (240 miles round trip), and we do love to see them often. Considering that we are here 6-7 months or so, we are still thinking about the alternatives..........Les
