Ours is a Furrion sound system with speakers positioned like the photo above.

Our Furrion Radio / DVD player / sound system also makes a continuous humming sound. It's actually the built in DVD player that is constantly spinning, with a disk in it or not. It's so loud it annoying, even when the television is running.

Rather than attempting to swap parts and stuff out, we just use a stand alone sound bar we purchased from Best Buy. Actually, it works great as it's got a total of 4 speakers to the system. (the main bar, the two tweeters, and the Bass). We run the wires for everything so they are not in the way way. When we travel, they all have to be stowed away. But, setting up again is no problem. Once we got good locations established for each speaker and the route to run the wires, set up is the same every time, and takes only a few moments (mostly to unroll wires).

We knew we'd never be able to find another system that would have the same dimensions as what currently exists. Considering the original equipment still works (it's just noisy), we decided to leave it as is, but simply not use it. If, in the future, we ever did decide to sell the trailer, the original equipment would still be in place, and the sound bar simply removed as it's stand-alone anyway. (But, just an FYI, we have no intension of ever selling our Montana. Even if we give up camping completely, we'll just leave it parked in the drive way and continue using it at home. Still, the sound bar was a much easier solution than attempting to match original equipment) ... And the sound is beyond awesome ..... especially that Bass.
