Honestly, I used to be really active about checking level every month or so and correcting manually (because I have reservations about the auto-level feature taking forever to get it correct). These days I don't really re-level unless it gets really out of whack for some reason (rain, drying out, etc). That being said, I've also been in warm weather for a year now and haven't had to deal with cold. When I had a leak in my hydraulic jack I did notice I had to relevel a bit more often, but when I fixed that we didn't have those problems any longer.
