I don't know what the hitch receiver and its connections to the frame look like on the 2021 models, but the frame connections on the "cargo" hitch on my 3790RD was not impressive even if I put on a bike rack. I ended up adding an additional 2" tube across the back end of the 12" frame wide flange beams (I-beams for you non-engineer types). I've towed a few thousand miles with around 3000# with no issues. Could I go higher?? I'd say yes as long as the tongue weight stayed in the 300-500# range.
