Every time I read these Andersen vs conventional hitches threads it makes me happy that my 11 year old B&W has served so well over 50++K miles. No special parts, no notch sensitive aluminum tubing, no special adapters, just good ol' fashioned welded steel plate. I do have to say the base unit of that B&W seemed to have gained a few pounds over the winter
