I have a 2020 3855br Monty, I have pulled it with a 2019 F350 SRW for 25,000 miles. I did not have any issues. This truck is my everyday driver as well.
However, I traded that truck for a 2021 F350 King Ranch DRW because of the payload. The payload is 5,300 vs the 350 being 3290. Before I bought this truck I looked at a F450 but the payload was only 4755. Because the truck is much heavier. If you are over weight and you are involved in an accident the insurance co. Will not cover you. This dually is now my daily driver and I don’t find any difference between the 2 trucks. Good Luck with your new Monty.
