Its not horrible to put on and off. I role mine front to back and toss the sides out. Its getting the giant role off the roof (or up on the roof) that is the challenge. I wrapped a rope around and pulled it up.
The Adco product keeps the rig dry and breathes well. Protects against UV. Be prepared you will only get 2 (maybe 3) seasons out of it before it rips and falls apart.
the compromise is weight.
