I spray the bottom of the slide from the outside when it’s extended. Clean off the bottom first. Wiping with a damp rag is usually sufficient. I didn’t do that one time and I had dirt transferring onto the carpet. Can’t be good for the wear bar also so cleaning the bottom of the slide once in a while is now routine for me.
