Were steel or aluminum wheels an option back then. I am trying to find out what is correct for this 5th wheel.

I would think going to an aftermarket would be better , Tires, and Wheels I believe is one website, there is others. As said doubtful you will be able to get OE wheels, and most likely would not be rated for 110 psi.

I would definitely want the higher rated wheel regardless, and just in case you do get that trailer loaded up to its GVWR, you would want to go the G rated tires .
