The last I heard and that was last year at the MOC Fall Rally, if you have a hitch and want to add a heavier one you would void the frame warranty. In fact, even after the original warranty is expired on your unit the frame warranty continues.
I'll be checking this out again next month when we're at the Fall Rally because I would like to add one to my 2013 unit but previously were told that it could not be added and if I did it would void my warranty. We'll see what they say this year.
