I was able to get a valterra cable from Amazon and "adapt" it to fit the factory valve in my 3100. Not much trouble really, just trimming the outside case to get the proper inner cable length. There was a screw at the end of the valve that you remove that will let you get to the Allen screw that crimps to the inner cable. The valterra cable is a solid cable instead of stranded like the factory cable, hopefully it will last longer. The end with handle is different as well and requires a little thinking when you start putting it all together. All in all not a hard job.
