I have a scanner but find using the digital camera is a faster and easier way to get pictures on the computer.

King27, not sure why you consider the 6k axles marginal. Our 3295RK scales at 14,360, of which 11,060 is on the axles. That's almost a thousand pounds of leeway, roughly 500 lbs per axle. Just my thought and I'm not an expert.

Also, aren't the Dexter axles on the newer Montanas 7k axles (I'm not sure).
