My 2006 Mountaineer 319BHS has 50 amp power requirements. I have run it off 30 amp and 20 amp service when visiting certain RV parks that don't offer 50 amp service without any issues just as long as I don't need my A/C running with other items. I'm looking to purchase a Power Booster/Surge Protector, and my question is if I purchase a 50 amp unit (ie. Hughes Autoformer for 50 amp service), can I use it with the 50A to 30A plug adapters on a 30A power pole? Or if I plug in to a 20A circuit, can I use adapters and still be protected with the 50A Power Booster/Surge Protector unit?
