I know a lot don't agree with me on this. Someone said do the math. DO the math and plan for the unexpected. Sure enough, something is going to sneak up on you to change your retirement dreams. Illness, injuries, unexpected costs and worst of all, the death of a spouse, all will change the retirement plans dramatically and in a big hurry. Unfortunately, lots of folks don't prepare thoroughly enough and end up in disappointment and bitterness. I don't plan to ever full time, and if I can't afford to travel when I want, I guess I will stay home. I like my house.
