Our 2012 still has the original battery.
RV is Always plugged in except on the road.
May die tomorrow but still working so far.

Had a fire that started behind our ax/gas fridge. $13000 worth of damages. Replaced the refrigerator with a residential. Will never use a gas fridge again.

Had similar incident with our 2012, it wasn’t actually the pin box but electrical junction box that was getting into the rails. Remounted box, eliminated problem.

Was also advised by a fire department captain to tap bottom with a rubber mallet.
Had to use our original one didn’t discharge but about half the powder. He said to do this at least once a year.

Sticking to my wet cell

My 2012 Monty has the original wet cell. Plan on replacing with another wet cell this spring just due to age. My unit stays plugged in all the time it’s not on the road.
