Sounds like a solenoid that isn't always doing it's thing---go to a different dealer and buy the extended warranty and wait awhile--the warranty is cheaper than the overhaul---mine would have cost...

I made new ones with 1/4" rod from the hardware store and cut new threads with my tap & die set--yes you will have to drop the belly enough to screw the new rods in---I also used thread lock to help...

I have that setup and I am very pleased with it--had a problem early on with the bladder leaking down and I got it replaced under warranty and haven't had a problem since-- it makes backing a little...
