Not sure about the plastic ties, they dry out and...

Not sure about the plastic ties, they dry out and get brittle, crack and brake. Might want to use a metal clamp.

Wire loom

When I did mine, I spliced in right at the wire loom in the front compartment. No fishing of the wires.
