This may be off track, but we don't use Pilot or Flying J because the fuel economy is about 70% of Chevron or Shell. This has happened on both 2006 and 2010 Ram 2500. And the other fuel ischeaper.

We always travel with them up. The biggest reason is if it catches fire inside someone passing us might point to the fiver. When we had a blowout and didn't feel it, someone passing us did just that.

Had the same problem. First, check the fuse as sometimes they corrode. Next, exercise the switch on the vent four or more times for the same reason. It's hard to reach on a fiver without a ladder....

I would go with an extension cord to plug into the pedestal box. Just make sure it is over 14 gauge. This keeps that electric mostly out of the RV and you don't have to modify anything.
