I guess we have been very lucky with our 2005 3400 RL. We have not had a leak to date. I do try to keep things sealed. That factory caulk will crack and peal after a couple of years.

Replaced the factory original with one of the Shur Flo models. It works really well; not as quiet as I had hoped, but at least the knocking is gone when not hooked to a city water connection.

I simply double stack 2x12's that are cut about a foot in length. I them on the rear stabilizers as well. I keep a plastic crate with about a dozen or so on hand.
