I would suggest replacing the reversing solenoid...

I would suggest replacing the reversing solenoid switch and tighten the connections to it, then reset the system.

When you are in storage turn the inverter off and the solar controller will take care of the batteries. Cloudy days, snow on the panels or panels covered by shade will effect the rate of chargre.

In ours, the thermostat in the main living area controls an AC unit and furnace. The second thermostat in the bedroom controls that AC unit and the heat pump.
