Yes it would happen when the slide is open. Even though mine wasn't leaking at the time I looked at the area mentioned, the sealant was not applied very well and some wasn't even there.

My door sticker says 65 for front and 65 for rear duals to get rated carrying capacity. I never saw any wear issues on the factory installed tires and no wear issues on the michelin ltx ms tires now...

No problems with mine. Sounds like you have an issue with the left side chassis track and you need to remove the drawer and check to make sure the chassis track is secure on that side.
