IMHO the sre4000 does nothing to address the real issue with trailer suspensions. The joints where the springs are mounted ware out. The only fix I know of is the Mor Ryde IS

Same here, we have that light but do not use it. Our does work though. I think water/moisture gets in the switch and causes havoc with it. Spray it with contact cleaner and give it a go.
