Anyone that is planning to change the current wheels for an upgrade should also check with the axle manufacturer that the correct offset is being puchased.

I tried the 1004 bulbs and they are good. The brillance of the bulb appears to be the same as the 1076 but has a much lower amperage. Thanks Ken

The fix I did was install a marine battery switch...

The fix I did was install a marine battery switch right at the battery. That takes all the guess work out of the problem.

Thats odd. Our axles are Dexter 7000# and are showing on the decal to be rated at the tire max which is greater than 6000# but less than 7000. Is there an error on the decal rating?

Well we took delivery of our new 3400 last Friday and we are slowly learning its hidden secrets.
I'm still trying to understand why we have a Battery Switch that doesn't turn the battery "off"...

Thank you very much. That was the info I needed.The plan is to install Goodyear G614RST. I have been using them on our current Trailer and they have been great (50000 miles - 80000 KM).
