I know you cannot be so lucky, but be sure the switch in the bottom left corner of the hw heater is on. Seen from the outside with cover off.

Are the slides hydraulic or chain drive? If hydraulic is the fluid level correct?
What age is your RV? You must have a good battery for the slides to work.
