Mine is an older model, but that additional heavy wire that disappears under the floor comes off the load side of my 50 amp breaker (i.e. not the pump breaker) so it is protected.

The switch on the bottom of the light on mine stopped working. As a temporary fix, I sprayed the switch (thoroughly soaking it) with WD40 to clean the contacts. And it worked for 2-3 years more...

I installed a 5th Airborne a couple years after buying our 2007. Can’t really say it softens the ride of the truck as far as softening the bumps. But it did pretty much eliminate any chucking I had....

Fairly common problem. Mine starting leaking same as yours after 5-6 years. Easy and inexpensive to replace. I used pipe tape rated for gas.
