Thanx for all the input & responses. Looks like the slimline 3005 with a portable back up is the way to go.
It's probably best to have the 3005 installed at Montana dealer right?

Trying to decide which satellite receiver set up would be best for my new 3400rl. Auto seek permanent mount, carry out portable dish. What seems to work best for most campsites? We'll be hooking up...
